Ludmila Andronic, Chairwoman of Press Council

Master in Communication (National School for Political and Administrative Studies, Bucharest, 1994), Bachelor of Journalism (Moldova State University, 1992). Since 2009 – candidate for a doctor’s degree at Moldova State University.

Since 2001, she has been working as lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences, Moldova State University, and since 2006 – editor-in-chief of „Business Class” magazine. Previously, during 1999-2006, she held the position of PR manager within „Orange” company.

Dmitri Calac, member of Press Council

Master in International Relations (Academy of Public Administration under the Government, 1996), Bachelor of Journalism (Moldova State University, 1985).

Since 1995, he has been acting as editor-in-chief of economic newspaper „Ekonomiceskoe obozrenie „Logos-press”.

Liuba Casâm, member of Press Council

Master in Economic Law (Slavonic University from Moldova, 2007), Bachelor of Law (Slavonic University from Moldova, 2006), Bachelor of Physics and Mathematics (Pedagogical University, Tiraspol, 1981).

Since 2007, she has been the founder and director of „Express” newspaper from Ciadâr-Lunga (TAU Gagauz). Previously, during 1999-2007, she acted as a reporter, then director of  „Teleradio Găgăuzia”.

Oleg Hitalski, member of Press Council

Doctor in Philology (State University „A.I. Gherţin”, Sankt Petersburg, 2007), Master in Philology (State University „Alecu Russo”, Baltsi, 2001), Bachelor of Philology (State University „Alecu Russo”, Baltsi, 2000).

Since June 2007, he has been acting as editor-in-chief of the independent regional newspaper „SP” (Baltsi).

Ana Curcudel, member of Press Council

Bachelor of Journalism and Sociology (Politology and Sociology Institute, Kiev, 1993), Bachelor of Journalism (Moldova State University, 1977).

Since 2006, she is a free lance journalist and Chairwoman of the Association of Young Diabetics „Dia”. Throughout 1997-2005, she acted as director of independent periodical „Accent Provincial”.

Daniela Terzi-Barbăroşie¸ member of Press Council

Master in Health Psychology and Psychotherapy (University „Babeş-Bolyai”, Cluj, 1999), Bachelor of Psychology (Moldova State University, 1998). At present, she follows professional studies  within the association of Family and Couple Psychotherapy, Iassi, Romania.

Since 2006, she has been working as Executive Director of National Study and Information Center for Woman’s Problems  „Partnership for Development”. Author and co-author of several research papers and reports on gender equality in Republic of Moldova.

Georgeta Stepanov¸ member of Press Council

Doctor in Political Sciences (Moldova State University, 2000), Bachelor of Journalism (Moldova State University, 1991).

Since 1996, she has acted as lecturer, superior lecturer, university associate professor at the Journalism Chair, Moldova State University. She conducted investigations in the field of media institutions’ informational policy, national press history, journalist’s professional behaviour, social journalism etc.

Since 2002, he has been the Chairman of  „Promo-Lex” Association. Previously, he worked within the Human Rights Defense League from Moldova.

Loretta Handrabura, member of Press Council

Doctor in Philology (University „Al. Ioan Cuza”, Iassi, 2000), bachelor of Philology (State Pedagogical University „Ion Creangă”, 1992).

Since November 20, 2009 she has been acting as Deputy Minister of Education. Previously, she acted as university associate professor at the Chair of Romanian and Contrastive Literature of State Pedagogical University  “Ion Creangă” from Chisinau. She is a member-founder of the Media Consortium for Gender Equality and Academic Consortium for Gender Equality.
